Fat-Soluble Vitamins

  • Vitamin D: Crucial for absorbing calcium and phosphorus, which are vital for strong bones and teeth. It also supports the immune system and may help prevent some cancers. Besides sunlight, Vitamin D can be found in fatty fish, egg yolks, and fortified dairy products.
  • Vitamin E: An antioxidant that protects the body from damage caused by free radicals. It also supports healthy skin and eyes. Foods high in Vitamin E include nuts, seeds, vegetable oils, and leafy greens.
  • Vitamin K: Important for blood clotting and bone health. It is found in leafy greens, broccoli, and liver.
