Singakerta Village
Singakerta Pakraman Village is located in the Singakerta area of Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province. The village stretches from north to south and is divided into six banjars:
- Banjar Katiklantang,
- Banjar Lobong,
- Banjar Daduh Labak,
- Banjar Tengah,
- Banjar Dangin Labak,
- Banjar Jukut Paku.
As a key tourism supporter for Ubud, Singakerta Pakraman Village has embraced tourism and is undergoing development. The area now features various tourism facilities, including hotels, lodging, restaurants, art and traditional markets, and art shops. Local artisans have long been involved in handicrafts and home industries, which provide an additional source of livelihood alongside farming.
The village also has a rich tradition in sacred art, which complements yadnya (holy sacrifices in Hinduism). This includes percussion art, dance, vocal performances, and new creative dances for entertainment.
