Ubud art market fire. This happen at 17 august 2024. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The Gianyar Fire and Rescue Service quickly responded, sending 21 firefighters truck to tackle the blaze. Local authorities also pitched in to help put out the fire at the Ubud Art Market.
The source of the fire is stil unknown. The fire was only concentrated in one point and did not spread far away.
It’s estimated that around 50 motorcycles were lost in the fire. In the aftermath, around 134 stalls and six stores across two floors of Block A were completely destroyed. Activities around the fire location were stopped due to precautions against unwanted things. The situation is under control and safe for the public and tourists
Despite their efforts, the fire caused damage to local businesses and temporarily disrupted tourism in the area. There were no casualties in this incident. losses in the form of merchandise in the vicinity of the trading stall.
Today the situation is in control. The cause of fire is stil unknown. Ubud art market located at the central of Ubud near “Ubud palace”.
