Gianyar Regency is the first regency in Indonesia to disburse tourism grants. Taking place at Rumah Luwih, Desa Lebih, I Made Mahayastra as Regent of Gianyar opened a technical training program for the CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environmet) program for hotel and restaurant businesses. Anak Agung Gde Putra from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy was present as a resource person on the occasion.

A total of 583 hotels and restaurants have passed the verification, 160 of which have transferred grants, ranging from around Rp. 40 billion more in grants that have already entered the accounts of each hotel and restaurant. Hotel Mandapa A Ritz Carlton is the largest recipient of grant funds, the hotel received a grant of Rp 3,445,042,809, said the Regent of Gianyar.

After the handover of the grants, a technical guidance and socialization event was also held. This technical guidance and outreach aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of hotel, restaurant and tourism object managers about the CHSE Program. This program is expected to be a strategy to face a period of adaptation to new habits in the hotel and restaurant business sector.
